Terms of Service
Last updated 22 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and me, Matias Barragan. I make and run bpad at bpad.cc on my own. Using bpad, with or without an account, means you accept them. How I handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell me at mati@barragan.com.py if you think someone else got in. You need to be at least 13 to have an account.
Your notes are yours
You own what you write and upload. To run bpad I need permission to store it, copy it between your devices, and show it to the people you share it with, so you give me that permission and nothing more. It ends when you delete the content, except for copies others already made from what you shared with them.
Sharing
A share link opens your note for anyone who has it, with the rights you picked. You decide who gets a link or an invitation, and you can change or revoke them at any time. People you let edit can change and comment on that note.
Using bpad fairly
Please don't use bpad to break the law, to share anything you have no right to share, to harass or threaten people, to spread malware or spam, or to try to get into notes and accounts that aren't yours. Don't try to overload or take apart the service, and don't scrape it. If someone does, I may remove the content and suspend or close the account, telling them why when I can.
The Claude connection
No AI inside your notes. Connect your own Claude if you want: the connection is opt-in and off unless you connect it yourself. Claude is a service from Anthropic with its own terms. Whatever you ask it to do with your notes is done on your behalf, so check its changes the way you would check anyone else's.
The service
bpad is free and is offered as it is. I work to keep it running and your notes safe, but I can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, so keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose. Exporting a note takes one click. Features may change or be retired. If I ever shut bpad down, I will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your notes.
Liability
As far as the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, that come from using bpad or from not being able to use it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Leaving
You can stop using bpad whenever you like, export your notes, and ask me to delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too, and I will mention important changes in bpad before they apply. Questions go to mati@barragan.com.py.
